Good morning all. As most of you know there has been a lot of good work with APRS in the last year. There is now good coverage of digipeaters from Woodall Mtn. to Columbus. We need a better path from Corinth, Booneville thru Tupelo and south for parallel alternate paths as well. Another item that would really help would be some igates along the way. Igates take APRS traffic to and from the internet. There is currently igates in Fulton and New Albany. APRS technology has changed and grown over the years and there are many ways to put togerher igates. If you follow weather with a personal weather station look into connecting your station to the APRS network. Look into all the things that APRS has to offer and help grow the local amateur radio APRS community.
