ARE YOU READY TO TEST?

THE NEXT AMATEUR RADIO LICENSING TEST SESSION AT AREA 51 WILL BE SATURDAY, JUNE 15, 2024 AT 9:00 AM.

Anyone interested in testing will need to pre-register. Brian, KG5VEK, is the point of contact for pre-registration and can be reached at area51radiogroupms@gmail.com.

Cost to test will be $15. Please bring cash. Checks or credit cards will NOT be accepted.

You will need your FRN number, a valid email address, and a photo ID on test day. See the links below regarding how to apply for your FRN number and how to pay the FCC application fee. The application fee of $35 will be paid directly to the FCC for new operators after you have earned your license. Upgrades are not subject to the $35 FCC fee.
