Thursday night Weather Net - FULTON REPEATER

Good afternoon, everyone,

This is a friendly reminder to all local amateurs.

The local SkyWarn weather net meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM on the Fulton repeater, 145.450 MHz (–0.6 offset) with a PL tone of 192.8, unless otherwise announced.

Thanks to Jeff, KB5NMB, EchoLink access is now available for the 145.450 repeater. Simply download the EchoLink app, register, and connect to the KB5NMB-R node (463411). Please note there is a slight delay between the repeater and the EchoLink connection, so be patient and avoid rushing the QSO.

We look forward to hearing everyone tonight (Thursday) at 1900 CST. 73 to all!

Please help spread the word to your friends and fellow hams. If someone is not currently on our email list, have them send an email to nemra.inc@gmail.com with the subject line “add to email” requesting to be added to the general mailing list for club announcements. That’s all that’s required.

73,
NEMRA

New DIGI

NEW FULTON/ITAWAMBA DIGI IS ON THE AIR

Well I convinced myself everything was good so the new FULTON/ITAWAMBA DIGI is on the air. I still have to get into the config file on the station at the club house and turn off digipeat. It is a line in the config file that has to be edited and I don’t want to risk config file editing remotely. I have turned off the local 145.450 repeater object broadcast by it. The digipeater now handles the repeater object broadcast. As soon as I can I will get to the club house and turn off digipeat and it will become only an igate. Also as soon as I can I will get the Tupelo digi over to Chuck so he can pit it on the air for Area 51 and TARC. Y’all give some reports on Fulton, the call is W5NEM with no ssid. Hope I got ot right, I used Woodall’s config as a guide, fingers crossed. Hope y’all enjoy.
