October 2017 Meeting

Good Monday Morning everyone!!
I hope the weekend was good to each and everyone of you. Wow. What an active year for the tropics and us. 14 named storms have developed this year and a few have come our way. Very thankful that Nate donated its Blessings to our Gulf Coast and Alabama. However we really need some sustained rain. Rain-dance needed please!!!!!
Reminder that we will be having our October 2017 monthly meeting at the Fulton City Hall board meeting room this Tuesday October 9th, 2017 starting at 18:45 hours. We will be having the usual business meeting and have at least one new membership application. Also committees will be appointed for the election of officers and directors for the next year, and that committee report back to the club in Nov and officer and board members elected and take over at the Dec Meeting or Christmas get together.
Chuck Moffat and I are going to have a program on portable vertical tripod based antennas, setup, use, tuning, and traps for use with a dipole antenna and how to make them and maybe understand them. Im still having had time with traps. Lol.
Okay, that's all for now, and we will see you guys tomorrow night in Fulton.
